We aim to encourage Penn State students to participate in activities that conserve our natural resources and limit degradation of the environment.
Q: How is PSU GO GREEN different from other sustainability campaigns on campus?
A: Most sustainability campaigns at Penn State focus on resolving broader, more global environmental issues on a large scale, which eventually becomes too complex and unfeasible. Unlike other sustainability campaigns at Penn State University, PSU GO GREEN targets issues specific to Penn State and proposes, simple, yet new and innovate solutions to make the campus more sustainable. Through PSU GO GREEN, students can immediately make a change using resources available to them here on campus.
What We Do
The Penn State GO GREEN campaign encourages all students to make simple, lifestyle changes on campus in order to help make Penn State a more sustainable environment. In addition, Penn State GO GREEN is working to implement new and innovative "green projects", to help resolve major environmental concerns on campus in an unique and effective way.
